We were given the brief to buld a 60s shop front to look into the 60s ,the film Blow Up which was a big hit in its day and to look at David Bailey the photographer who was famous for photographing stars and the artist Richard Hamilton as our inspiration.
This is the ply wood cut out that we are to use in the shop as our models at the momant they are just painted white we are not too sure what we plan to do to decorate them as yet.

The sign: the name for our shop is Yardbirds which is the name of a band in the 60s and was also featured tn the film Blow UpThe painting begins and we have chosen a really nice mauve colour.
This is the begining of thepainting of the illustrations that we have decided to put on our back wall.

this is the silver strips that we used to give the front of our shop a bit more depth and also look more interesting as shop fronts on the 60s were very plain.TRhis is the begining of the painting of the illustrations that we have put on the back wall.
